Isabelle's Lighting is required to collect 6% sales tax on orders shipped to Vermont only (we do not collect local option tax, such as the Williston, VT 1% local option tax). We do not charge any sales tax on shipments to other locations.

Vermont Taxble Customers Only:

On January 1, 2007, the State of Vermont adopted a law requiring businesses to collect and pay a 6% sales tax on shipping fees. The majority of our products offer free shipping and will not be affected. To comply, Vermont taxable customers who place an order for products such as light bulbs or Christmas lights, will receive a reduced per order handling fee of $7.45 plus 45 cents sales tax for a total of $7.90 (to match our advertised per order handling fee of $7.90). This breakdown will only appear on the final Isabelle's Lighting customer invoice.
